I love this and have many large florals that need to be in a quilt. Especially a quilt that is beginner friendly. Yes, to a pattern!

Great idea! I've been meaning to make one of these style quilts. It would be good for where my brain and my stash are at the moment. hahah

I love where this is going.

I noticed a lot of people just use the 1/4" seam tape or just press the fold. I press mine. For whatever reason, I just can't seem to use the 1/4" tape successfully.

Wow! I love your project and where it is headed. You should definitely write a pattern. I have some similar types of fabrics that need to be used up as well. Happy Stitching!!!

This looks so pretty 😍. I use 1/4" seam tape, too, and also will finger press a crease across a square and find it works rather well. Much better then marking each one. Good luck!

I do not like marking those diagonals at all, so I simply fold them and press that line in! Not too many at once or you lose accuracy, but it is soooo fast!

I hated drawing lines on my squares for making HST so much that I avoided them for a while. Then I found the 1/4" seam tape that gets taped to the front of my foot, game changer! Love HST again. I now only mark larger pieces where I can't see the end of the tape. (I have the attached extension table on my Juki)

I didn’t anticipate the blue zigzag created by offsetting the diamonds - how fun!

I really like the idea of pulling the blues at random. This is so appealing since the design can truly put focus on the lovely prints! Wish I were your neighbor…..

LOVE this block and that blue! I'd be very tempted to use the brighter blue lol. I think I could do many, many quilts before I use up all my blues lol.

Would you share the block dimensions? I could make these between Tapestry Garden releases.

Thanks in advance!

Looks like an all around fun quilt to create; ease of construction, scrappy, using FQ bundles…. Can’t wait to see the finish…

I love it! I am busy, too, with your Spinny pattern. Loving it!
