Let’s have an update on that Lake Cabin quilt in Summer Crush colors!
I have received a number of squishy packages from my bee mates, each containing blocks for our collaborative charity quilt. Not all the blocks are in yet, but the collection is growing nicely. What do you think?
Besides describing an ideal color mood in ice cream colors, I also asked for each block to include a black/white or gray/white element. I am pleased with how that detail really pulls the blocks together.

Sew-along with Jodi to make a Cherish Quilt in the second half of 2025 and talk all things fabric, because this quilt was designed to showcase favorite fabrics. This week only get the Cherish EPP supplies, and all fabric bundles for 15% off!
They’re going to look even better with the Kona School Bus orange sashing between the blocks. So fun and summery!
I look forward to receiving more blocks and then finishing this quilt off soon. Maybe I will be able to donate it to the refugee housing center in our city. It’s actually not so far from my new home.
Rachel, this quilt is going to have summer written all over it. Such cheery colors. You and your bee mates always make beautiful quilts. Looking forward to seeing it when it's finished.
I think the Summer Crush Colors are really nice together, and the blocks look great!
