more Tapestry Gardens!
from our community
We are wrapping up month two of our year-long journey with Tapestry Garden sampler quilt. It’s so cool to see the active chat community for this block-of-the-month. Many quilters are sharing their joys, trials and questions, not to mention beautiful finishes. Special congrats to those of you who have learned to foundation paper piece and/or sew curved seams for the first time this month! Let’s take in some highlights…
Thorn blocks by Sarah Garion, carefully divided by value. These garden shades and pretty florals have me dreaming of spring.
Thorn blocks by Lucinda. Such beautiful, sharp points and crisp values.
Thorn block by Rachel. The colors, the shapes, the sewing - what a perfectly delightful block!
TODAY’S STITCHED IN COLOR IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY~
Winter Creek Cloth
Enjoy a big selection of fat eighth bundles, which make it super affordable to build your stash for scrappy patchwork. I’m loving these bundles of Speckled fabrics by Ruby Star. Such gorgeous, versatile basics!

Patio + Thorn by Tilishess. Wow! Bold fabrics and strong value contrast make for eye-catching patchwork. Can’t wait to see more.
Thorn blocks by Hilary. What fun, happy blocks! I especially like the diagonal yellow fabrics in the block at the lower left.
Thorn blocks by Carol. Can you feel the dessert sun? I love that Carol’s garden reflects the nature of her surroundings.
Patio blocks in by Michelle Walsh. Just getting started with Tapestry Garden? Cool! We welcome your creative additions wherever you are in the process. These patio blocks are promising beautiful things to come!
Thank you all for sharing your inspiring process photos - way more than I could include here. All of these photos come from our Stitched in Color Chat. It’s easy, ad-free and everyone gets seen! Stop by? See you there!
