super pretty quilt, and super super adorable pretty little girl.
Does she like to sew? Can she use the machine yet? I am hoping to teach Sarah and Lauren (10 and 7) how to use the machine this Summer. Just the basics on a mechanical machine.
Thanks, Rosemary. She can use the machine, but not on her own yet. We have plans to do a project together sometime. But most often she is playing piano these days.
Rachel you have the unbelievable talent of taking a hotch potch of fabrics and making it into a beautiful création. What a talent you are! Brave and trusting. PS that is one of my fave longarm stitches.
I remember when you became unhappy with your project years ago and scrapped the idea because it wasn’t feeling right! Bringing these blocks back out, gave you the opportunity to rework your magic and create this beautiful quilt! It is sew much a part of who you are and what you love! 💗 It’s such a wonderful surprise to see Elora pictured here today too! I see so much of Aria and Liam in her! She’s absolutely precious, Rachel! Enjoy your little vacation, it looks like a beautiful place to be!
Love this quilt! The colors and arrangement is gorgeous. Also, love the back!! Your little girl is beautiful. I have been following you since way back in South Carolina. I am a lover of scrappy quilts.

that is nice too.
Two great skills to have!
I love how this all came together, Rachel! My favorite photo is the quilt held over and reflected in the water. So lovely!
Pretty quilt and pretty place to get pics of it--and of your beautiful daughter. A happy post!

Lovely quilt Rachel!
I am in love with the dogwood flower block! Do you have instructions for it?
Yes, I do! That block was created as part of my Nineteen Thirty quilt pattern: https://www.stitchedincolor.com/patterns/nineteen-thirty
So pretty!
Your daughter is beautiful! Glad she likes to hang with mom and is interested in things you do ❤️
