WEEK 4 GOAL
Sew 1/2 the Quilt
This week I am working on sewing the right half of the quilt, with plusses from yellow to green to blue to purple. I just love plunking down on the floor in front of my design wall to arrange colorful squares. I mean, is this really my job? I am so lucky!
Over the last week I have received good feedback about your success and satisfaction with the web-piecing method. Cheers to you for learning something new! I’m glad that you too are charmed with the method and enjoying how tidy and organized it makes the piecing of all these little squares.
Now it’s back to podcasts for me as I settle in to sewing the next board of squares. As another sewist in the chat said, it’s really hard to stop, once you get into the flow!
I love putting all of these colorful scraps to such good use. And I daresay that the Art Gallery Sugar Plum fabric, which I’m using as my background, was a charming choice. This is a quilt that says spring in a great, big colorful way!
