Ooh! I can't wait to see it all come together with the orange. I've always loved that colour in vintage quilts but never been brave enough to use it. 🥰
So cute - I'm tempted of course and may have to wait on my to-do list so I can sew with you. Perhaps, I'll make a pillow since it would be helpful to finish vs. a quilt. Not sure yet, but thank you for sharing.
Love how you have strong detail for colors and some prints for the Bee blocks on this quilt. I have this pattern and have yet to use it, this is giving me some inspiration… I had to go back and read your episode on “Orange”, that’s how it is with red for me… I’ve been going to a certain local quilt shop for years and recently realized that I use to always ask the workers for their advice, and now I don’t and it feels good to make myself figure it out, go with my gut… because if I didn't I wouldn’t end up with my unique take on the project…. I love seeing your unique take on all your projects.
Thank you for walking through your color choices. I love the results and it is helpful to know how you got there. My small group is sadly finishing the last chapter in your book. We have so thoroughly enjoyed all of the exercises.

Lake Cabin is such a great pattern! I’m looking forward to seeing the orange quilt when it’s completed!

I love orange, but I agree it can be sometimes hard to work with it well. Recall your Wild Oranges - it was brilliant!

Oh no!! You may have tempted me AGAIN!
