I hear you. Julieann. I have a little voice that wonders if the room will feel too intense, too warm, too passionate. Maybe it won't be quite restful enough. However, I think I am game to take the chance and go all out. We'll see what happens! I could easily change the wall color if the pink is too much. Fingers crossed!

Rachel, your pink walls are extraordinary! I love shades of pink used in unexpected places. When my husband and I moved into our first house, I painted one of our kitchen walls pink. Total surprise for my husband when he came home from work. After about 10 minutes he looked at me and said, “well, I don’t hate it.” It stayed there until we painted over it when we sold the house. 😁🤗😉
Oh Rachel, go for all the pink your heart desires. Different shades of it have always been my favs, and if I didn’t have a spouse who does not love the color, my whole house might be pink.
Rachel, I love your pink choice. One thing I notice with F&B is that they combine 2 or 3 paint colours in one room. Depending on the shape of your room you might find adding in 1 additional colour will set off the pink. Also need to considèr other colours in room - woodwork, furniture, flooring. A totally pink box could feel oppressive. It does require thought but perhaps you could ask F&B for their suggestion.
Interesting idea, Viv. The floors and bed in my future bedroom are a nice, medium wood color. My white wardrobes will fill up an entire wall with white. The curtains will likely be neutral as well. That said, the idea of painting a contrasting wall or contrasting trim is interesting. I could really enjoy adding a soft tone. Thanks for the idea!
Im thinking a neutral with attitude something like Templeton Pink or Setting Plaster or similar to connect with Flooring and secondary neutrals in fabrics. I wouldnt paint anything white other than perhaps a trim on door or whatever. Otherwise it will look like you didnt buy enough coloured ppaint. Just a challenge for your thought process.

Of all your quilts Inhibition and your log cabin one (sorry I forgot the name you call it but it is an unusual log cabin design) are my favorites. Pink is such a beautiful color I can't wait to see where you go with this. What a fun and creative project.
Wow, you’re having fun…. Im sure your mind is also spinning with pattern design also…. Before I got to the part about adding in solids to the quilt, that came to my mind also. One thought I had was if the solids were the same size, like little diamonds or squares on point throughout. I think the solids can play a big role in the quilt…. Looking forward to seeing where you go with this… Thanks for sharing

In our new house, we have not painted a thing.
In our old house, I am preparing a color pallet to repaint several rooms. I am not sinking a pile of $$$ into that but many of the walls need fresh paint anyway, why not accentuate the fixtures in the house....
