Rachel, you have done it again. What a spectacular combination of the very traditional single color solid-with-white blocks and the gloriously scrappy and contemporary brights of your maple leaves. They play off one another beautifully in a way that is uniquely YOU. I love it. Congratulations and Happy Fall!
Beautiful photos of this sweet quilt make me feel nostalgic for crisp fall days! What is the backing fabric you used? It reminds me of caramel covered candy apples.
Rachel, this is just flat out pretty! I love it. I've already ordered my background fabric and I have plenty of scraps for the leaves. Bonus! My scraps were already cut into the 2 and 2 1/2 inch squares. I can hardly wait to start this.
Your quilt is beautiful, Rachel! I love those bright and colorful leaves! The gold was a perfect choice for the alternate block! It’s like the sun is shining through on the last days of Summer as we enter into Fall! ☀️🌈🍁
I love everything about this quilt!
So sweet. The golden blocks seemed too strong at first compared to the gray in the mock-up, but instead they fit perfectly and gives such warmth.☺️
Thanks, Inger!

Oooh, good connection there with the apples! It is a fabric I received from a friend so I don't know the sourcing info. Sorry.
Just fabulous!
I want to-but my hands and neck are giving me grief, so I will think about doing it later. It really is lovely!

How serendipitous, Pat! Yay.
Beautiful!! I love it. I have heaps of mountains of scraps!
Gorgeous!
Stunning!
It turned out so very pretty! You finished it so quick! I'll have to think about the QAL - tempted for sure.

Can I ask what color you used for the stems here? It looks a bit mauve-y?
The stems are actually a dark brown with slight red undertones.
Thank you!
