your Tapestry Gardens!
let the sewing begin
Oooooh, I do so love this phase! Our year-long journey with Tapestry Garden sampler quilt is just beginning. Many quilters are sharing their fabric choices in the chat group - how exciting! I love to see your ideas and those first blocks take shape. Let’s take a look together…
Fabrics by Michelle Price, carefully divided by value. I feel dreamy garden vibes and soft transitions.
Fabrics by Isabel Pratzka. They’re just as beautiful in black and white!
Patio blocks by Isabel Pratzka. Wow, how gorgeous! This color palette is speaking to me with the cozy, warm shades plus that reserved, steely aqua.
Fabrics by Nonnie Anne with strong value contrast in saturated colors. These Allison Glass fabrics will create a jewel-like vibe.
Patio blocks by Nonnie Anne. Strong contrast makes for crisp, clean patchwork. Stunning!
Patio blocks by Sarah Garion. This feels just like wondering into a garden. Her busy fabrics create a sumptuous, tangly look that’s really lovely.
Patio blocks in process by Amanda Neal. She’s opted for a limited palette in soft, 70’s shades. What a nice idea to use that pale yellow for the solid.
Promising mock up by Angela Simon. I think the whole community is eager to see this develop! I mean, wow! A reserved palette shows off the patchwork amazingly. I’d sew this in a heartbeat.
Thank you all for sharing your inspiring process photos - way more than I could include here. All of these photos come from our Stitched in Color Chat. It’s easy, ad-free and everyone gets seen! Stop by? See you there!
Now is the perfect time to join this sew-along! We’re just getting started.
