I adora Anna Maria’s fabrics and have made several quilts using her various collections. I still have plenty of her fabrics in my stash, so I’m far from done with her beautiful, colorful fabric! Love your Xs.
Hi, Jan. I always press my seams open. Then when it is time to sew the rows together, I match the flat, open-pressed seams pretty easily. Since this quilt has relatively big pieces, I don't find it very demanding to sew together, actually. So long as you sew the triangles to the half hexagons properly, you have plenty of seam allowance to keep all the diamond points sharp.
