I can't wait to see more. I've been thinking about colors for this quilt for a while.

Rachel, I love the colors of this quilt! so far, grey yellow greens and blue.

Is it easier to applique the 1/4 circles to create the stars, than to do curved corners on a star form? I think it is probably easier to applique the 1/4 circles. It looks beautiful.

Do you trim away the two fabrics underneath? Really great and very neat and tidy.

This is such a fun quilt. I have partly shut down my sewing office and trying desperately to down size and PACK. I have been doing EPP and .... piddling trying to clean up really.

I have so much fabric. I think I am a hoarder. haha

I cant wait to see the final result on this creation

Hi, Rosemary. I do think it is much easier to applique in this manner, rather than sewing curved corners on a star shape. As you suspected, I cut away the two underneath fabrics after appliquéing so that the block is not bulky.

Good luck with your packing. It is such hard work and also confronting with all the things we forgot about and wonder if we should still keep. Wishing you clarity and a feeling of lightness as you downsize!

I love this quilt! I really enjoyed these patterns each month and then I put it aside to work on the next project! I still have three patterns make! I think they’re the most difficult ones to do! I do look forward to getting back to it! I love these bright and beautiful colors you’re using! I’m excited to see more as you and your circle complete each pattern! ❤️🌈

I am curious which three patchwork groups you have not yet made and expect will be the most difficult? I would guess that one is Still Point. I think that one is the mot difficult! As it happens, I started cutting triangles for it yesterday! I know it is a tricky sew, but afterwards I will feel proud of myself, haha. It's the little things!

Yes, Still Point is definitely one of them! The other two are Wedge Cross and Orange Peel. In order for me to print the templates, I need to go down to our local FedEx/ printing store. I haven’t had my own printer for years, so it’s a bit inconvenient for me! I will eventually get there. Right now, I’ve been keeping my sewing simple, making small quilts.
