Trust me, no one is noticing any fold lines on that quilt! What a stunner! And I can't believe you took it over to Paris to photograph it but that makes total sense ... so many beautiful shop windows and buildings. I hope you enjoyed some great food and wine while there!
Ok I love this. My guild is doing a similar block this year and I’ve been meh about it, but as always your color choices make me want to try it now! I am also so intrigued by the silk. I know you talked about it before but I think that too was all silk? Have you washed this? I wonder how the silk and cotton will play together. Not for the first time I wish I could feel this through the screen!
Lovely quilt and thanks for sharing. Looking forward to your move - I know it's not easy, but it sounds like you are making a great step (for many reasons) and life is not always easy or how we plan it. Hang in there and keep us posted.
I just LOVE the quilting and the way the silk reflects the relief so much more than a matt cotton textile. Jury still out on the X pattern but expect I'll get used to the idea of something so off the wall *for me*. I really do like those little smidge of orange here and there. It does what a quilt should... keeps your eyes alert for the next surprise. Great stuff Rachel thoughtfully photographe in Paris. You are stretching my quilting mind and I'm enjoying every minute. Hope you enjoyed the trip. Reportback please!!
BEAUTIFUL! 😍Was the quilting done with a computerized longarm? Love the design!
Just gorgeous!

…am I only one wondering who the color-coordinated quilt holder is? hmmmm…. Ah, Paris!

Trellis Candy is such a beautiful quilt! I love the colors! The plaid is absolutely my favorite! 🩷💙
