This little cutie quilt is so sweet. Your Grandbabyboy is going to have so many quilts! One for every day of the week. I know your daughter and her hubbs are thrilled and excited.
She obviously has a fairy that comes in and does all those 'not much fun' tasks leaving her all the time in the world to sew. Either that or she does the washing, ironing, dishes, cooking, paying bills, her nails and cleaning her shoes etc etc between midnight and 3am. I have a friend like that... 5 kids and turns out a quilt a week. OK Viv envy does not have a pretty face. 🤣🤣🤣 Rachel its beautiful!!!
The overall size is much smaller here. The blanket is more of a carseat/stroller/bassinet size for when baby is small or when an older baby wants to hold onto something. I'll include a measurement with the finish =)
Oh that was fast, and ever so sweet. As everyone else I love the mice, and it’s wonderful that there are so many of them showing up even though you didn’t fussy cut. That’s the benefit of using so much of that lovely print. And it was so much faster than having to try to fussy cut. I also kind of hate fussy cutting, apart from the extra time it takes, because it leaves odd holes in my fabric, and then what do I do with the rest of it? Of course, I have so much fabric that I can easily just cut away the odd pieces and discard them. But I kind of hate the waste anyway. 🤷🏻♀️
Yes, the holes in fabric from fussy cutting are difficult for me as well. In this case I had so little mice fabric that I never even considered fussy cutting. Thanks Charlotta!

Curious what the over-all size will be…. I tend to go 45”x52” or so, but maybe smaller is more practical…

Did you use an iron on to stitch the triangles to?
No, I joined the triangles to each other as with traditional patchwork.
