Thanks, Pat! I am not paper piecing the sashing intersections - the ones that I changed color on. Those are traditionally pieced. I am paper piecing the triangle points in the sashing strips. The only hand sewing on this quilt is applique of the Dresden plate flowers.
This quilt keeps getting better and better. I love the new sashing design. It is so complimentary to the deco flowers. I can't wait to see it finished!
I felt that it stood out too much. There are so many tiny white squares, which kind of boggle the eyes. I felt that the white in the star center was visually confusing.

Love the dreamy feel of these colors. black (the dark blue) in the sashing gives an anchoring to the space, wonderful adjustment!
